Laynie Is 11 Months

Our baby girl is almost one!  Time flies by so fast!  She has been taking a few steps for the past month or so, but now I think she has it figured out.  Yesterday she walked across the room five times! She LOVES the dog.  She will climb on and smile and laugh at the dog.  I think Penni is pretty protective of her too. She still isn't talking much.  She mostly sits back and takes it in I think.  We are still working on bedtime, but she goes down for naps like a pro. :)  She likes to cruise around the house and find things to get into and put in her mouth.  All of her toys aren't nearly as much fun as the DVD player lol!
     July 8, our family went to Jefferson City for the Dibble Family Reunion.  Such a good time visiting with everyone! I can't believe I didn't take pictures...my head must have been detached.  We left Jefferson City Sunday morning to go to St. Louis.  We ended up staying at the same Days Inn that we stayed in 2 years ago...by accident. A good accident...it's great for kids.  On Monday we went to the zoo and Science Museum.  It was very hot at the zoo.  Then we ended at Union Station and enjoyed the fudge demo.  One of the guys looked at Laynie and said, "What a cute baby."  Then she tried to get out of her stroller and he said loudly, "That ain't no baby-that's a toddler!"  haha!  Nope she's still a baby- just big!  On Tuesday we went to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor.  It was still very hot!  We left early because a storm came through, but everyone was ready anyway.  On Wednesday, we went to Grant's Farm and really enjoyed that because the weather was much nicer, and it was fun feeding the goats.  We headed back to OKC that afternoon, getting in pretty late at night.  Brandon was pretty exhausted, and we were all ready to sleep in our own beds.  Laynie did great until the last half hour of the trip~  so that was pretty awesome!
