4 Months Old (12-27-10)

Physical Changes:
She's getting taller and bigger.  She's 25&3/4 inches (97 percentile) and 15.2 lbs (75 percentile). She's getting into the cute baby look and losing the newborn look.

Eating and Sleeping Habits:
She's going longer between meals, which is great.  During the last month, she still got up once during the night, then one more time around 6-7.  She slept 9 hours the last two nights!! Woo Hoo!!  She's going to have rice cereal tonight for the first time.

New Accomplishments, Skills, and Talents:
She is grabbing for toys and can bring the hanging ones to her.  She has made a couple of toys play music.  She is trying REALLY hard to roll over.  She's almost there.  She did roll over once on Dec. 18th, but hasn't since. She's chewing a lot on her thumb and fingers.

New Places and Experiences:
Laynie was baptized into the Catholic Church on December 12th.  She did great...no tears...must be all of those baths!  Karen and Jimmy flew in from Colorado.  Grandma Pitts, Rik, Rob, Tracy, Ashley and Jeremy drove down from Tulsa.  Matt and Elizabeth went also.  Maycie was part of the church pageant prior to Mass, then we had the baptism after Mass.  It was very nice.
Laynie loves to look at lights!  So we took all of the girls to Chickasha to look at their light display.  The girls had fun playing on the playground surrounds by the thousands of lights.  It wasn't too cold, so it was fun.  Laynie just kept looking around at the lights.
Laynie also had her first Christmas.  We had all of the girls for the week before Christmas...so we went shopping, to see Harry Potter, ice skating, and the Science Museum Oklahoma.  It was a fun week.  Then we celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve.

Favorite Things and Activities:
She still likes to watch football  haha!  She's so alert looking at everything.  She still likes to look at lights.  She also likes Patty Cake, Wheels on the Bus, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Rock A Bye Baby.  She likes raspberries on her belly and being talked and sung to. She likes to play on her mat and play in her exercise saucer/table.  She "talks" to you and back.  The KiKi kitty discovered her this month...it was too cute.  She even said,"oh Mama..."  Ok she didn't mean to, but it was awesome!

**I have to add...tonight she rolled over 3 times!  She's got it now!
