9 Months Old

Laynie is nine months old!  On Friday 5/27 we headed out for Table Rock Lake in Missouri.  We stayed at a condo on Emerald Pointe.  The first day we just swam and went to Branson Landing.  On Sunday we rented a pontoon boat and Hailee and Maycie tubed.  Everyone had a blast.  Everyone got to drive the boat-even Laynie  haha.

Laynie went to her 9 month check up when we returned.  30.5 inches and 20.13lbs.  She is not petite lol!

We were excited about the no ear infections diagnosis... she had had 4 in 3 months.  She also had 4 teeth break through the top over Memorial Day weekend.

Little Miss Laynie is crawling everywhere.  She had been hesitant to explore, but now if she thinks I'm in the kitchen, she'll go in there looking for me.  She likes to go behind the couch to the dog cage and under the end table.  She laughs and smiles all the time... I LOVE it!  Her laugh is like a weird breathing noise, but we know what she's doing.  She does this scrunched up smile face that we call her "football" face.  We'll ask her to do it and she does.  She's also babbling more...mamamama, dadadada, babababa, lalalala, nanana....  I think she knows I'm mamamamma, and Brandon is dadadada... And she is so ticklish and she'll laugh out loud like crazy when we tickle her.

She is pulling up and scooting around everywhere.  She especially pulls up on our legs and we pretend to walk.  She's been getting some people food, but she mostly likes her baby food.  She's also drinking out of her sippee cup really well... she likes water.
She still isn't sleeping through the night, so we are finally initiating TRAIN BABY TO PUT HERSELF TO SLEEP... we'll see...
