Today Laynie looked at me, looked at my face. She also cooed to me, not grunted. She responded to my voice and to a toy frog that makes a jingle noise (on her changing table). She's becoming a little person with her own little personality. I took her to the V Salon to get my hair done. She did great; she looked at all of the many colors.Yesterday she slept really well most of the morning and early afternoon. We had picture taking time because she did not do well at Penny's Tuesday. I got a big smile in one picture, but it turned out kind of blurry. It was exciting that she was smiling! She also has been lifting her head from day one, but yesterday she lifted her head and chest while laying on her tummy and a little pillow. She kept it up for quite a few seconds.
